Brian Herron, the founder of Island Scaffolding, started the business some thirty five years ago. Working mainly on domestic projects in the London area.

Island Scaffolding Ltd was formed in August of 1986, being in place for the Great Storm of `87 and dealing with the many varied projects of the time.

Over the years Brian has built the company up to what it is today , covering London and the whole of the South East area.

Today Island Scaffolding Ltd is a family run business, Brian Herron is the managing director working very closely with his son Lee Herron who is working director.

Our contracts manager is Mike Harwood. Mike deals mainly with the larger commercial projects such as the recently completed New Sheppey Hospital in Minster and the major refurbishment project at Oak Wood Hospital in Maidstone for Try Homes Ltd. Major re-roof and recladding works in Kemsley Mill, Sittingbourne for Mitie Roofing (SE) Ltd, the largest roofing company in the South East.
